Evangelism

Bible:

 We place great value on the integrity of the scriptures. We believe the Bible is God’s Word and therefore is totally reliable. It is the Divinely Inspired, inherent, and infallible Word of God. We contend the Bible is the ultimate source of authority for all Christian belief and behavior. The Bible is God’s revelation of Himself to humanity, therefore what we know of God and His will for our lives is found within the pages of His Holy Bible.

Relationships:

 Fellowship is essential to everything we do. We honor God best thru building healthy and loving relationships.

 We are a loving church that exists beyond the four walls of our building. We believe Church is more than a weekend event. The Church is an extension of the family, so we strive to build happy, healthy homes. The stronger the Family the stronger  the Church.

Intercession:

 We believe in the necessity of prayer. Jesus has given us daily access to the throne of God. It is prayer that touches the heart of God which moves the hand of God. We believe it is the Christian privilege and responsibility to intercede with God on the behalf of one another, our country, and our world. It is from the position of prayer that we become stronger and equipped for the task God has placed before us. We believe that  “The Family that Prays together Stays together.”

Discipleship:

 We value Christian growth and spiritual maturity. You will find at The Bridge, we place much emphasis on teaching the scriptures. The Scriptures are the chief means whereby the Holy Spirit produces spiritual maturity within the believer. We believe every believer has been created with a divine purpose, he or she has been given spiritual gifts for the fulfillment of that purpose. By educating, equipping, and empowering believers we enable each other to live a life of purpose.

God’s Glory:

 The chief means of creations existence is to glorify the Creator. The ultimate way to glorify Christ is in worship. Worship is both personal and corporate. We encourage every believer to have daily quiet time with God for the purpose of worship. We also encourage every believer to join us corporately for worship. You will find Christ is the center of our Worship. Worship at the Bridge is exciting and dynamic. But most importantly our worship is Spiritual not mechanical. We believe that worship is much more than the praise band, the songs and the structure of a service. We believe worship is spiritual; worship is our heart connecting with the heart of God on an intimate level.  Worship is Exalting God’s Glory!

Evangelism:

 Evangelism literally means to share good news. Jesus has commissioned the church to go and share the good news that we have found in Him. His last recorded words in the Gospel of Matthew are, ‘19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” (Matt. 28:18-20). At The Bridge we believe Every Member is a Messenger. Our goal is that every member of “The Bridge” will become an effective messenger for the Lord Jesus Christ.
