ABOUT OUR PASTOR

Frank Stanley is the planter and pastor of The Bridge Church. Having sensed the Lord leading him to begin a new work, he and a wonderful core group of believers joined together with a vision of connecting every culture to the Living Christ and His loving church, and in November of 2012 The Bridge Church was born.  Frank and his family are from the western part of North Carolina. He and his wife Joan were married on August 20th, 1989 and have been blessed with three wonderful children Jay, Blair and Gabriel. Pastor Frank accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in November of 1989 and surrendered to God's call into full time ministry in 2001 after having served as deacon and Sunday School teacher of his home church. After surrendering to the ministry he sensed God encouraging him to a deeper level of study that he might show himself approved unto God and began his education at Fruitland Bible Baptist Institute in Hendersonville North Carolina where he earned an Associates Degree in Christian Ministry. After graduation from Fruitland he continued his pursuit of education through Covington Theological Seminary where he earned his Bachelor of Theology degree. Pastor Frank loves God and His word, He is a sinner saved by grace with an overwhelming desire to see every person he comes in contact with accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and savior. He believes the Bible to be God's word and proclaims it as absolute truth, divinely inspired, inherent, and infallible. You will find his teaching to be without apology and applicable to daily life. Pastor Frank has a heart for hurting people and a desire to see Brunswick County transformed by the power of the Gospel.
